The University of Minnesota Extension is excited to share a new learning opportunity tailored specifically for farmers and landowners interested in dual-use agriculture.
The new self-paced course, “Introduction to Solar Grazing,” covers the essential principles of integrating livestock with solar energy production. It provides clear, practical insights into how solar grazing contrasts with traditional home pasture grazing.
Key topics covered in the course include:
• An introduction to solar grazing fundamentals
• Overviews of solar energy sites and site safety
• Working with solar energy personnel
• Best practices for vegetation management
The course opens on November 1st, and registration remains open continuously so participants can learn on their own schedule.
