Cover Crops + Collars: Expanding Your Grazing Potential

October 20 @ 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm

More forage. More flexibility. More grazing potential. How can you get more grazing days from your land—and make the work of managing livestock more manageable? Join Fields of Sinsinawa for an interactive field day exploring two tools for expanding grazing potential: cover crops and virtual fencing collars. We’ll look at how cover crops can extend the grazing season and provide additional forage, and how virtual fencing can help expand the grazing footprint while reducing the time and labor required to move livestock. Come see these approaches in action, ask questions, and consider what might work on your own farm.

This event was originally planned for Thursday Oct. 15 but has been rescheduled for Tuesday October 20 due to rain.

We’ll meet at the shed at 2551 County Rd. Z, Hazel Green, WI, then load up on people movers to go see the field. After the event, we’ll come back to the shed for burgers, brats, and camaraderie.
