Workshops & Pasture Walks
Connecting Wisconsin farmers, conservation workers, and community members
As part of GrassWorks’ mission to provide education to farmers we are committed to hosting and or sharing grazing related workshops and pasture walks that occur throughout Wisconsin and neighboring states. You can always find these events listings on our Events page and subscribe to the GrassWorks Calendar to always keep up to date! This page is for events that we have more information to share with you than fits on the calendar page.
GrassWorks +Byron Seeds Workshop
Did you know that you can get a GrassWorks seed mix for your pasture? We are excited to have partnered with Byron Seeds to create a cool season pastre mix that works great in Wisconsin pastures!
In this fall 2026 workshop, GrassWorks and Byron Seeds will take you on a pasture walk to view the seed mix in action and answer your questions on how this seed might work in your pasture. Regisration is free but pre registration is appreciated so we can make plans for the lunch which is sponsored by Bron Seeds.
In the afternoon our hosts for the day, Justin and Darci Daniels will show us around their 200 acre farm and their various agriculture enterprises. Click below to sign up today!
GrassWorks + Ranching for Profit Workshops
By popular demand after our March events, Ranching for Profit is back! Join us for one of the two, one-day workshops this fall to take a new look at some of the RFP principles on how to run a profitable, ecologically healthy business. Whether you attended one of the spring sessions or not, these workshops will be great for you!
In this fall 2026 workshop series, GrassWorks is excited to welcome nationally respected RFP owner, instructor, and facilitator Dallas Mount for 2 one day workshops. These fall events are great for those who attended our spring workshop and for newcomers. Join us to:
