November 1 @ 8:00 am – 3:45 pm
Northwest Wisconsin Graziers Network, GrassWorks, Shell Lake-Yellow River Watershed Producer Led Council and UW-Madison Extension would like to invite you to attend this year’s fall grazing conference in Shell Lake from 8:00-3:45 on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Registration and the trade show will start at 8:00 AM. The delicious meal will be catered by the local group Fiddlehead Kitchen, using grass-fed beef provided by the Steve Degner Family, Bashaw Valley Farm of Shell Lake. GrassWorks is the proud sponsor of this year’s Fall Conference!
This conference will continue the NW WI Graziers strong tradition of an informative and friendly networking environment to learn more about: watersheds, animal health, grazing and conservation opportunities, current livestock markets, understanding forage test results, nutrient management for graziers, using a forest mulcher for silvopasture, making nitrogen fertilizer on-farm and three grazier panels on meat processing of poultry, small ruminants, and direct marketing through an on-farm store along with other helpful information. View the agenda below for more details.
The conference should be of interest to new farmers, part-time or full-time
operators, low-income startups, graziers or non-graziers alike. Agency and
commercial exhibitors will be available to network with throughout the day.
Advance registration for the conference is due by Wednesday, October 29, cost is
only $20 and includes lunch, refreshments and materials. Late registration is $30.
