Join us at Ross Bishop’s farm to see his 5 year established Kernza perennial crop.

Guest speakers: Erica Schoenberger and Dr. Valentin Picasso Risso of UW Madison as well as Dr. Nicole Tautges of Michael Fields Agricultural Institute, will discuss this new crop, and its current and future economy in Wisconsin. Jamie Patton of NRCS will be down in a soil pit to demonstrate the soil heatlh benefits of this new perennial crop. Ross Bishop will demonstrate how he combines this unique crop.

* FREE Kernza beer and snacks provided, along with a light dinner
