Great River Graziers Pasture Walk Series

Great River Graziers is a peer to peer learning network of graziers in Southwest Wisconsin, primarily centered around Crawford County. For our pasture walks, we ask that the host come with a question or situation in which they are looking to improve. The attendees will play a large role in offering assistance, advice, knowledge, and experience to help answer the host’s question or improve their situation.
This is an active learning opportunity for all present, not a showcase.
This walk will cover: Tillage considerations when establishing pasture in heavily outwintered areas. Reviewing nutrient management plan and soil samples. Increasing fertility over time with minimal commercial fertilizer.
