Wisconsin Schools of Grazing – Lancaster

The Wisconsin Schools of Grazing offer unique, hands-on educational experiences designed to empower graziers with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage pasture-based livestock systems. Our programs combine classroom learning with practical fieldwork, ensuring participants leave with actionable insights tailored to their specific farming operations.

These schools are focused on large ruminant grazing but the concepts learned are useful for all species

Registration is required and YOU MUST REGISTER BEFORE 9/17/2025! The fee for the class is $175 for the first person from your farm or household and $100 for each additional member of your farm or household.

This Wisconsin Schools of Grazing are brought to you by GrassWorks in partnership with USDA-NRCS, UW-Madison Extension, The Marshfield Ag Research Station, and the Lancaster Ag Research Station, with the support of Oneida and the Oneida Farm.
