Derstine Pasture Walk

This pasture walk is laid back and we welcome all farmers no matter your experience level to come ask questions and help guide the conversation to what you are most interested in.

Leslie operates a cow-calf operation utilizing managed rotational grazing, and also custom grazes steers and heifers on an additional property. In addition, he has experience with direct marketing his beef to consumers!

• Things that have worked or not on Leslie’s farm
• Opportunities for graziers

Brooke Patrick, Grazing Specialist with Golden Sands RC&D will be on site to help answer any questions about the grazing planning process and to provide additional grazing resource. As well as Grace Hershberg, Conservation Specialist with Lincoln County Land Services Department to share about opportunities available at Lincoln County.
