DESCRIPTION:Glacierland RC&D is hosting the Noble Research Institute’s Profitability Essentials Course on October 20–21\, 2025 in Elkhorn\, Wisconsin. This is the first time that the Noble Research Institute has presented in Wisconsin\, and we’re excited to host them! GrassWorks is a proud supporter of this event.  \n\n\n\nThis two-day\, interactive workshop provides farmers with practical tools to strengthen decision-making and improve long-term profitability. Through presentations\, case studies\, and hands-on exercises\, participants will learn how to: \n\n\n\n• Analyze the profitability of individual enterprises within their farm \n\n\n\n• Evaluate costs and returns to better understand what drives financial success \n\n\n\n• Develop budgets that guide day-to-day decisions and long-term planning \n\n\n\n• Identify bottlenecks or weak links that limit profitability \n\n\n\n• Weigh major decisions such as expansions\, new enterprises\, or capital purchases based on clear financial analysis \n\n\n\n• Explore strategies that balance economic viability with environmental stewardship \n\n\n\nThe course emphasizes practical\, farmer-focused tools that can be applied immediately to any operation\, regardless of size or type.
