Travis has 65 acres of rotationally managed grazing for dairy with 60 cows and young stock. 10 years rotating has improved water infiltration and soil organic matter and he has integrated practices such as silvopasture and prairie strips to increase biodiversity and resilience on his farm.\n12pm – free lunch by Viroqua’s Cheese Corner\n1pm- farmer panel/ Q&A featuring graziers from the Bad Axe Watershed Stewards including\n-Travis Klinkner\n-Alan Selow- 100 acres of rotationally managed grazing for dairy with 64 cows and 64 young stock. 23 years of rotational grazing has produced healthier animals and a more resilient ecosystem on Al’s farm.\n-Kent McClurg- 190 acres of rotationally managed beef; 160 head\, 65 of which are cow calf pairs. 5 years rotating and cover crop grazing has extended his grazing season and pasture recovery substantially.  \nfor questions contact:\ninfo@valleystewardshipnetwork.org\nor call (608) 637-3615
