DESCRIPTION:Managing Your Green – A Farm Finance Series for Graziers \n\n\n\nSession #3: Pasture based enterprise calculator \n\n\n\nJoin us in person or virtually (Zoom link below) on Wednesday at 5PM to hear from Jim Munsch and John Hendrickson\, creators of the Pasture Based Enterprise Calculator\, share how to utilize decision support tools in exploring enterprise scenarios for your grazing operation. \n\n\n\nJohn Hendrickson is a farm viability specialist at the Center for Integrated Agricultural Systems\, UW-Madison. His work focuses on farm management and profitability\, with an emphasis on specialty crops. He conducts farm financial benchmarking research\, develops tools to help farmers measure enterprise profitability and better manage their farm businesses\, and explores the economic and quality of life aspects of running a small farm. In the past\, John operated his own certified organic vegetable farm. \n\n\n\nJim Munsch is a long-time Wisconsin grass fed beef farmer and small business management consultant.  Jim has been a contributor to the University of Wisconsin in supporting tools and education to help livestock and vegetable farms improve profitability. \n\n\n\nRefreshments provided.
