DESCRIPTION:Join us for a unique tour showcasing how sheep are transforming land management through solar grazing! \n\n\n\n Learn how the flock helps maintain solar sites like MGE’s Strix Solar project. \n\n\n\n Learn about GPS collar technology from Nofence.  \n\n\n\n See agrivoltaics in action as sheep graze under and around the solar panels. \n\n\n\nTour Information \n\n\n\nThis tour is a collaboration with MGE\, Wiscovery Grazing\, OneEnergy Renewables\, the Wisconsin Farmers Union\, GrassWorks\, Farm-to-Power\, and UW-Madison Extension’s RESET program. Thank you for the generous support provided by the Fund for Lake Michigan and NRCS’s Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative (GLCI). \n\n\n\nWhen: Sunday\, September 7\, 2-4 pm \n\n\n\nWhere: Fitchburg\, WIPlease RSVP here for the exact address and any day-of weather updates.  \n\n\n\nDress code: We will be on an active project site\, closed toed shoes are required.
