Visit a savanna restoration in progress – compare two different on-going restoration strategies side by side. Tour a large expansive grassland that supports Henslow’s sparrows\, bobolinks\, Eastern meadowlarks\, dickcissels and more. Discuss grassland management using fire and mowing. \n \nOn site will be resource professionals with information about NRCS cost-share programs that support savanna restoration efforts and pasture health improvements. \nCome for the learning and stay for the conversation over dinner.
